Hematology Oncology Physician Locums Job in Maryland Call Beginning September 11 and Ongoing

Shift Details: Two Shift Options with Weekends On-Call: M-W-F (8 hr/day) + 7 24 hours on-call shifts per month M-F (8 hr/day) + 7 24 hours on-call shift per month Practice Setting: Outpatient Practice 3-5 days a week for 8 hours per day Inpatient On-Call Coverage 7 days per month for 24 hours per day (will be on call while doing outpatient clinic work and have to go to hospital)
Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible Active MD State License - at time of submission, no exceptions Active MD DEA and CDS - at time of submission, no exceptions BLS or ACLS Required Procedures: Chemotherapy - Intracavitary - Intrapleural / Peritoneal, etc., Chemotherapy - Intrathecal, FNA/Biopsy, Mgmt. of VAD/CV Catheters Required Duties: Participation on a Tumor Board, Blood Bank, Orders Tests, Orders Images, Prescribes

Assignment Details: Support part-time Hem-Onc Onsite: breast surgeon and surgical oncologists Shared space staffed by two physicians Call Schedule: 1 week of call per month (7 consecutive 24 hour shifts) Call Ratio: 1:4 Patient Population for Required Coverage: Adult, Geriatric Practice is 25% Hematology, 75% Oncology, 0% Internal Medicine Number of Physicians in Practice: 1 Part-time Hem Onc, 1 Breast Surgeon, 1 Surgical Oncologist, 2 Radiation Oncologists Radiation of Oncologists Present During Coverage Office Staff: patient navigator, social worker, Medical Assistant, Practice Manager Chemo center: 2 miles away in the outpatient infusion center Patient volume: 70-80 (most chronic management patients Minimal emergent cases.) Average Number of Patients Per Day - OUTPATIENT (Clinic/Office) :
