Social Media & Community Manager – Full Time
Location: Remote , with preference in Greater Bay Area
We’re looking for a
Social Media & Community Manager
who can grow and deepen our community, connect with audiences in meaningful ways, and lead impactful collaborations with like-minded brands and influencers. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on building genuine relationships and translating brand values into measurable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Community Growth & Engagement
Develop and execute a social media strategy focused on growing followers, engagement, and brand loyalty across Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant channels. Manage daily community interactions—responding to comments, DMs, and brand mentions in a timely, brand-aligned voice. Build and manage an ambassador/loyalty community, ensuring high engagement and retention.
Brand & Influencer Collaborations
Identify, vet, and build partnerships with influencers, content creators, and aligned brands. Negotiate collaboration terms, manage product sends, and oversee content deliverables to ensure alignment with brand's aesthetic and values. Lead co-branded campaigns and activations that expand brand reach and introduce our brand to new audiences.
Content Strategy & Execution
Collaborate with our creative team to plan and produce engaging content (photo, video, Reels, TikToks) tailored to each platform. Proactively pitch creative ideas for storytelling, seasonal campaigns, and cultural moments. Monitor and report on social analytics, identifying opportunities for optimization.
Qualifications
3+ years of social media management experience, with emphasis in beauty, wellness, or lifestyle, in that order of preference. Proven track record of growing engaged communities and driving measurable results. Experience securing and managing brand and influencer collaborations from outreach to execution. Strong understanding of emerging trends, algorithms, and best practices for Instagram and TikTok. Excellent copywriting skills with a voice that’s warm, engaging, and brand-true. Self-starter with exceptional organization and follow-through—able to manage multiple initiatives at once. Passion for beauty, wellness, and culturally rooted storytelling is a must.
