Responsibilities
Design and oversee scalable, secure, and high-performing mobile application architectures that align with business goals and leverage cloud-native technologies (preferably AWS)
Engage in strategic technical discussions, translate business requirements into architectural designs, and lead the end-to-end solutioning of mobile applications, including integration with backend and cloud systems
Spearhead the migration of legacy applications and databases to modern cloud-based architectures, ensuring minimal disruption and optimized performance
Work closely with mobile app developers, DevOps engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to align mobile application strategies with organizational needs and best practices
Clearly articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including executives and developers, using strong presentation and interpersonal skills
Requirements
Be able to work from the office 3 days per week in Alpharetta, GA
7+ years of experience in mobile app native development (Swift/Java/Kotlin or iOS preferred)
3+ years of experience as a solutions architect or consultant in mobile applications, cloud-native applications, and infrastructures
Ability to articulate business requirements and drive solutions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
AWS Solution Architecture certification or relevant cloud expertise
Experience migrating or transforming legacy applications to cloud-based solutions
Experience migrating large databases from legacy data models to new data models
Working knowledge of Mobile application DevOps tools and Software Development methodologies
Hybrid with some travel to Alpharetta, GA
