Business Applications Developer

to join our Management Support Services team that supports the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. This is a

Full-time

on-site

position at the William J. Hughes Technical Center.

Citizenship/Permanent Residency Requirement

All candidates must have the following to pass the Federal Background Investigation and obtain the FAA Public Trust security clearance.

Be a US Citizen, have a US Green Card, or a Non-immigrant Work Authorization (VISA).

Has resided in the US for three (3) consecutive years.

The company is unable to sponsor candidates at this time.

Relocation Requirement

Candidate must reside or be willing to relocate within a commutable distance to Egg Harbor Township, NJ.

Education Requirement

All Non-US Degrees must have a US Equivalency Certificate provided by the candidate.

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Math, or a Bachelor's degree in another technical field with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science and

five (5) years of related work experience

in a computer science or math field.

OR

Master's Degree in any field of study with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours of either undergrad or grad study in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science and three (3) years related work experience in a computer science or math field.

Required Skills

Light experience in:

Microsoft 365

PowerBI

Power Automate (formerly Microsoft Flow) Application Development

SharePoint Online Management

Ability to:

Work independently, as well as a team, with limited supervision.

Research and problem solve.

Essential Daily Job Duties

Provide 2nd Level Engineering support.

SharePoint Online Management.

Work with the team to develop and maintain workflows.

Create custom-built applications, spreadsheets, and data repositories.

Transforming manual processes into efficient automated workflows.

Connecting and integrating diverse data sources.

Ensure information is organized and stored efficiently.

Support software development/testing/integration/troubleshooting activities.

Work Environment

Full-time position with a standard flexible work schedule and occasional non-standard work hours.

Occasional travel (less than 5%).

Cubicle environment.
