Learn more at www.firstagency.com Location: Newport Beach, CA (In-Office Requirement) What You Would Do The ideal candidate will represent the FIRST brand within a Solutions account for a financial services company. FIRST Solutions offers a proprietary strategic meetings management model, embedding specialist talent to deliver Content, Creative, Digital Technology, Management & Delivery, and Data & Insights. The Associate Project Manager will ensure exceptional service delivery through project management and creative solutions, supporting virtual, in-person, and hybrid events including conferences, hospitality, thought leadership, sporting, and cultural programs. Your Responsibilities

Plan and execute multiple events, both virtual and in-person. Manage event timelines, invitations, communications, and stakeholder coordination. Handle budgets, expenses, invoices, and financial reporting. Source venues, negotiate contracts, and manage suppliers. Coordinate registration, logistics, accommodations, entertainment, A/V, webcasts, and staging. Ensure compliance with client standards, policies, and risk guidelines. Travel globally (up to 15%) for site inspections and on-site event management. Conduct post-event analysis and client debriefs for continuous improvement. Collaborate with team and clients on large-scale programs. Share best practices and expand supplier and venue networks. Build and deepen client relationships to generate new business opportunities. What We Seek If you believe you’re a good fit, we encourage you to apply, even if your experience doesn’t match exactly. 2–4 years of event management experience, preferably in a corporate financial setting. Bachelor’s Degree required. Located within 90 minutes of an airport. Experience with large event platforms, especially Cvent. Self-motivated, innovative, and able to work independently. Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects under pressure. Leadership, negotiation, and decision-making skills. Resourceful, proactive, and creative problem-solver. Customer-focused with excellent communication skills. Highly organized, ambitious, and proactive. Willing to travel internationally for site visits and event management. Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledgeable about venues and suppliers nationwide. Benefits & Perks
