General Manager
for the
Doubletree

Charlottesville, VA . Your Expertise Shapes Us The General Manager is the primary strategic business leader of the property with responsibility for all aspects of operations, including guest and employee satisfaction, human resources, financial performance, sales, and revenue generation. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Implementing brand service strategies and initiatives to meet or exceed guest expectations and increase profit and market share. Holding the property leadership team accountable for strategy execution. Guiding the professional development of the property leadership team and all staff. Leveraging sales engines effectively. Building owner loyalty through proactive communication, expectation management, and delivering solid business results. Engaging with the local community to build strong relationships with officials, businesses, and customers. You Are A highly experienced General Manager with 2+ years of hotel leadership experience at a full-service property. Impressive results in brands like Marriott, Hyatt, IHG, Hilton, or similar. Strong financial skills including P&L management, budgeting, and cost controls, with the ability to develop these skills in others. Working knowledge of M3, ADP, and One Yield. Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. Proactive, persistent, analytical, and committed to delivering exceptional guest and employee satisfaction. A team player, professional, and lead with integrity. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Engaged, authentic, and prepared to prospect, sell, and maintain accounts to positively impact revenues for a "best in class" hotel.
