You'll be working within a distributed, cross-functional, balanced team - product management (that's you!), product design, engineering, QA, and data. Our teams follow a loose mix of agile and Scrum based practices - while we're not sticklers about process, we are focused on building a culture of learning and experimentation. We collaborate to build and ship features quickly, measure the impact of what we've shipped, and shape our next product decisions based on real data and feedback.

About the role:

As Senior Product Manager, you'll lead the product strategy and execution of our flagship product, ClearanceJobs.com. ClearanceJobs.com is a highly strategic product that drives top-line revenue, serves hundreds of thousands of daily active users, and is central to our organization's long-term success.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with design, engineering, data, and business stakeholders to ship user-centric product experiences that elevate the value of ClearanceJobs for recruiters and job seekers alike.

This role directly impacts cost optimization and strategic insights for DHI. The goal is for you to be part of the revenue growth for our next fiscal year and beyond. You will support end-to-end budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals.

Once hired, you will:

Undergo an onboarding period and training to learn all about ClearanceJobs.com today - core capabilities and the future-facing product strategy and roadmap

Meet with key internal stakeholders and peers who you'll be working with each day

Participate in user interviews to hear directly from ClearanceJobs users and to understand their goals and needs

Jump in to own and drive the day-to-day backlog and user story lifecycle (with plenty of support from your Product leadership and Product peers)

Perform operational product support as needed

As you progress in the role, you will:

Shape long-term product strategy and keep the day-to-day delivery engine moving forward with valuable, near-term features

Drive product initiatives that balance usability, performance, and innovation, especially around AI-powered features

Define and track success metrics to guide product evolution and measure impact.

Champion a culture of quality, learning, and user-first thinking across the team

Partner with executive stakeholders to align product direction with broader business strategy

Build deep relationships with CJ customers, users, and business stakeholders

Drive user interviews and research/discovery on next high-value capabilitie

What you bring to the team :

Strategic mindset and tactical execution capability. You are obsessed about driving big picture strategy and perfecting the details in the stories you're writing

A high bar/taste for what good software looks and feels like

Lean Product mindset and User Centered Design principles reflected in the user stories you write

Bias for action. You are comfortable with ambiguity, make informed decisions quickly using your product experience/sense, and keep progress moving forward without waiting for perfect information

Clear and proactive communication, with the ability to understand, influence and align stakeholders

Enthusiasm for AI and emerging technology in both how you work and in the features you're shipping

Curiosity and an innate desire to learn, grow, and improve continuously

Required:

Solid experience of Product Management experience growing a B2B or B2C SaaS product

Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with minimal direction or hand holding

Excellent communication, time management, and stakeholder management skills

Ability to occasionally travel to customer or CJ hosted events

Preferred:

Experience with AI-powered products (e.g., recommendation engines, automation, search)

Prior experience building products in the Talent Acquistion/HR tech space - job boards, ATS, multi-sided ecosystems

Familiarity with Defense or Intelligence community users and needs

Bonus - Based in the Denver Metropolitan area and able to work onsite from DHI offices once a week

Denver pay range: Base salary/pay per year, plus 10% annual bonus at 100% of plan targets tied to company and individual performance. Offer will depend on location and level of job-related knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience.$135,000—$175,000 USD
