Base pay range $165,000.00/yr - $210,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Selby Jennings Recruitment Consultant - Investment Management, Private Equity & Private Credit A Boston-based investment firm is seeking an Investment Principal to lead the research and management of customized, multi-asset class portfolios for high-net-worth clients. This role combines strategic investment oversight with client relationship management and team leadership. Key Responsibilities: Act as the CIO for key clients, overseeing the full investment process. Design and manage bespoke portfolios using firm-wide research and asset class insights, tailored to client-specific constraints (e.g., risk, liquidity, spending). Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, handling regular reviews and ad-hoc investment-related inquiries. Lead preparation and delivery of client meeting materials, covering performance, strategy, and market commentary. Qualifications: 8+ years in investment management, consulting, banking, or a related field. Strong academic background; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA, MBA) preferred. Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience. High intellectual curiosity and collaborative mindset. Seniority level
