Description Responsible for enhancing, maintaining, and monitoring infrastructure systems and applications. Provides production support and assists in developing and executing strategic roadmaps focused on server administration and management of associated infrastructure systems/applications (e.g., Physical Servers, Virtual Server Hosts/Storage, VMWare, Backup Systems). Systems/applications supported may include, but are not limited to, network systems, cloud computing, voice systems, backup systems, and security systems. Additional Skills/Qualifications
Experience using Active Directory to manage accounts and create permissions. Experience monitoring Windows Server environments and spinning up virtual machines using VMWare. Bonus: Previous experience with configuring/monitoring routers and switches. Basic understanding of networking is sufficient if not. Overall, the ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of IT experience and be eager to progress into an Engineer role within System Administration or Networking. This role offers enterprise-level experience and is suitable for those looking to enhance their IT skillset. Duration 6 months rolling contract. Note: TEKsystems previously placed a contractor here who is set to convert into FTE. This position is important for the bank with an intent for eventual direct placement. Work Environment The position is initially on-site, with potential for hybrid work thereafter. Pay and Benefits The pay range is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility for benefits depends on job classification and employment length.
