In-Store Warehouse Manager
is responsible for:
Helping oversee the warehouse at the store itself. Preparing packing and shipping documents. Picking and staging outbound shipments. Ensuring inbound & outbound shipments are accurate & damage-free. Maintaining a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
They must also have the ability to manually move and lift 50 to 100 lb. boxes of tile on a regular basis and have the flexibility to work nights and weekends within a team rotation.
Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Warehouse Manager to join our team in Mequon, United States. The ideal candidate will oversee all warehouse operations, ensuring smooth logistics, inventory management, and team coordination.
Manage and optimize daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping of goods Supervise and train warehouse staff, promoting a safe and productive work environment Implement and maintain inventory control systems to ensure accurate stock levels Coordinate with other departments to meet customer demands and delivery schedules Develop and enforce safety protocols and procedures in compliance with OSHA regulations Analyze warehouse performance metrics and implement process improvements Manage equipment maintenance schedules and facility upkeep Oversee the loading and unloading of customer vehicles, ensuring proper documentation Conduct regular cycle counts and participate in annual inventory audits Utilize warehouse management software to track inventory, generate reports, and analyze data Collaborate with suppliers and transportation providers to optimize supply chain efficiency Ensure cleanliness and organization of the warehouse at all times
Qualifications
High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or similar role Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively Proficiency in warehouse management software and inventory control systems Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Solid understanding of warehouse operations, logistics, and supply chain management Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations Basic mathematical and computer skills Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly, with occasional lifting of up to 100 lbs Familiarity with lean management principles and continuous improvement methodologies Adaptability to changing priorities and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
