We are seeking a skilled
Java Developer
with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Java programming. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Java technologies, be comfortable working with mainframe systems, and demonstrate proficiency in modern development tools and frameworks. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that meet business requirements and performance expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain robust Java-based applications using Core Java, Advanced Java, and related technologies. Analyze, design, code, test, and implement application functionality based on business requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve software issues by making necessary code changes and verifying results. Assist in the integration of Java applications with various systems. Support deployment and implementation of developed solutions. Prepare detailed technical documentation, including workflow charts, diagrams, and user guides. Participate in code reviews and contribute to software design discussions. Maintain and update existing software to adapt to new requirements or correct errors. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product delivery. Required Technical Skills:
Java Programming: Core Java, Advanced Java (minimum version 8) JDBC with expert-level understanding J2EE Frameworks and Tools: Servlets, JSP Spring, Spring Boot Hibernate or JPA RESTful APIs JUnit for testing Mainframe Technologies (Basic Proficiency):
COBOL fundamentals DB2 JCL and batch processing Databases:
Proficient in MS SQL Strong understanding of data mapping from mainframe structures to relational databases DevOps & CI/CD:
Maven or Gradle for build automation GitHub and GitHub Actions for version control and automation. PowerShell scripting What We're Looking For:
