The candidate will direct the business development activities of the organization and drive the sales business. They play a key role in the company and in the generation of new business. This individual will also be responsible for managing marketing and customer service activities. Develop and implement strategies :Create and execute comprehensive plans to achieve business objectives, including identifying new markets and potential customers. Identify growth opportunities :Continuously seek out potential clients and markets for expansion. Build and manage relationships :Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, vendors, and customers. Negotiate and close deals :Secure beneficial partnerships and maximize business opportunities through effective negotiation. Conduct market research :Analyze trends, monitor competitor activities, and leverage market insights to inform strategies and identify potential revenue streams. Develop marketing initiatives :Leverage market insights and consumer understanding to develop targeted marketing campaigns and effectively communicate the value of products and services to clients. Report on performance :Track and report on the effectiveness of business development strategies, analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress and make data-driven decisions. Education :A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is typically required, with many organizations preferring a Master's degree for senior-level positions. Experience :Generally, 7+ years of experience in business development or related roles, with a proven track record of meeting sales targets, is expected. Strategic Thinking :Ability to develop long-term growth plans and adapt strategies to changing market conditions. Communication & Negotiation :Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial for interacting with clients, team members, and stakeholders. Strong negotiation skills are needed to secure profitable deals. Leadership :Proven ability to lead, inspire, and manage teams effectively, fostering a positive work environment and driving collaboration. Analytical Skills :The ability to analyze market trends, competitor activity, and financial data to inform decisions and develop effective strategies.
