Position Summary
We are seeking a driven and experienced individual to lead strategic engagements with our key Space sector customers and actively drive expansion into new target customers, including those in space-related defense. This role is crucial for strengthening our existing client relationships and identifying, qualifying, and securing new opportunities in the rapidly evolving space and defense market.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field preferred; interconnect experience is desirable 10+ years of experience in business development, account management, or sales within the aerospace, space, or defense industry Strong existing network or demonstrated ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders in aerospace and defense Comprehensive knowledge of the region’s space and defense ecosystem (e.g., primes, government agencies, tech startups, research centers) Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Ability to work independently and travel as needed

Serve as the primary point of contact for our existing key Space customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, business drivers, and market trends in the Space and Space Defense sectors Identify new business opportunities and establish relationships with target accounts, including those in space-based defense, commercial space, satellite, and related sectors Lead the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, proposal development, negotiation, and closing Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, program management, product management, executive leadership) to align solutions with customer requirements and identify potential improvements or innovations. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and relevant networking forums within the region Maintain and update CRM records, sales forecasts, and regular progress reports

Pay Transparency
Winchester Interconnect Corporation is committed to pay transparency. The pay range for this position is $190,000-$220,000 (DOE). Exact salary will be contingent upon your experience, education, skills, and any other factors Winchester Interconnect Corporation considers relevant to the hiring decision.
