We are supporting our client in their search for an accomplished Project General Manager - Signage to play a pivotal role in the delivery of the FIFA World Cup 2026. This is a unique opportunity to be part of one of the world’s most iconic sporting events, overseeing the creative and operational execution of all look, branding, and wayfinding elements across a range of official sites. Reporting to the Project Director, in this leadership position, you will be responsible for the strategic development, planning, and on-the-ground delivery of all venue and city signage programs. This includes stadiums, non-competition venues, training sites, and official accommodations. Your work will ensure visual consistency, brand integrity, and operational excellence in line with the clients global guidelines. Key responsibilities include: Lead the planning and implementation of look and signage programs across multiple venues. Manage cross-functional internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and key stakeholders. Oversee production, installation, and decommissioning schedules across all sites. Ensure creative output aligns with brand standards. Coordinate with venue operations, broadcast, and city teams to align signage with event needs. Monitor budgets, timelines, and vendor performance to ensure project success. The ideal candidate profile will cover the following skills and experience: Proven experience in managing large-scale branding, signage, or overlay programs—ideally within global sporting events. Strong leadership and project management skills with a track record of delivering complex, multi-venue projects. Excellent stakeholder engagement capabilities and vendor management experience. Deep understanding of creative development processes and production logistics. Comfortable working in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment with fixed deadlines. Experience working within a global event framework (e.g., FIFA, Olympic Games) is highly desirable.
