Responsibilities
This role is hybrid in West Greenwich, RI. Candidate must live in or near Rhode Island.
• We are looking for a knowledgeable, talented and industrious Network Engineer to support a large North America network infrastructure including numerous data centers.
• The ideal candidate will be a competent individual with a great passion for technology, outstanding diagnostic, problem-solving and analytical skills.
• You will be responsible for installing and sustaining a complex Wide Area Network and associated hardware including logical security and documentation.
• This role collaborates with other parts of the organization to share and analyze customer requirements; implement and sustain the best solutions and processes to exceed business objectives and service level agreements
• Shared on-call responsibilities in a 24x7x365 environment
Qualifications
• 2 years of related experience with a CCNA, JUNOS or Fortinet NSE certification.
• Demonstrates a relentless commitment to meeting and exceeding customers' expectations while also achieving the goal of reducing the risks and costs of providing services.
• Performs basic to intermediate level troubleshooting of production networks.
• Performs basic to intermediate troubleshooting of network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls.
• Maintains network documentation (diagrams, procedures, best practices and performance and capacity metrics) and assists with tuning activities to optimize performance with a Network Engineer III, IV or V.

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $44,500 - $103,002. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance. Note: programs are subject to eligibility requirements.
