Allegiance Staffing is hiring a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician for a respected metal stamping facility in Louisville, KY. This company serves multiple industries including automotive, defense, appliances, and consumer goods, with a fast-paced production floor that requires multiple die changes each shift. We’re seeking a mechanically skilled and proactive technician with strong troubleshooting skills who thrives in a hands-on, industrial environment. Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and machine installations Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues using mechanical, electrical, and PLC diagnostics Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals Disassemble and rebuild equipment, replacing defective parts Maintain and repair facility systems (lighting, power panels, basic landscaping) Collaborate with production teams to resolve issues quickly Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used Comply with all safety procedures and operational policies Required Qualifications:
2–5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or metal stamping environment Press mechanic experience is required Electrical and PLC troubleshooting experience preferred Able to read and understand
mechanical/electrical
schematics Excellent communication and time management skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently Must be able to lift 50 lbs, bend, stand, and work in industrial conditions Why Apply?
