Jacobs is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join their dynamic team supporting mission critical work in the Aerospace Industry. The ideal candidate should have the following skills/experience: 1+ Years of experience in multiple of the following
cloud application development designing, developing, operationalizing, and maintaining complex cloud applications at enterprise scale AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud working with microservices and containerization, including orchestration, cluster management, and container storage, including Docker, Kubernetes, or Rancher experience developing and deploying microservice architectures experience deploying, configuring, and maintaining Linux server systems in the Cloud
Strong python skills with experience working with pandas, numpy, and scipy libraries Experience building and integrating APIs with Python code. Experience working in an agile environment. Git experience. Working with others on integrating code into the baseline with limited merge conflicts. Willing to obtain TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph Bachelor's degree Here's what you'll need: TS/SCI clearance with a CI polygraph Ability to use message queues (currently using RabbitMQ) Experience developing CI/CD pipelines Experience with AWS Serverless Cloud Computing services, including Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, and SAM
Using EC2 instances and S3 Buckets Building databases in S3 Deploying containers and Kubernetes with EC2 instances
Experience securing and hardening operating systems, applications, and containers Experience with application management and providing high availability and resilient solutions using methods, including clustering, autoscaling, or failover Experience with application performance analysis and monitoring, including Elasticsearch Logstash Kibana (ELK), Prometheus, and Grafana Experience with a SAFE Agile release methodology Certified Kubernetes Application Developer, Kubernetes Administrator, or Certified Terraform Associate Certification Jacobs' health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you and in the things you care about. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
