Kelly, in partnership with a growing client, is looking for a CNC Programmer for a
brand-new
facility in Paramus, NJ. We are looking for a highly skilled CNC Programmer who is proficient in Heidenhaim and Fanuc platforms. This comes with massive growth opportunity as our client site grows. This is a direct hire position meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their benefit and vacation package upon hire. Details: One shift operation 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday Pay: $80,000 - $100,000 (potentially higher for the right position) Key Responsibilities Optimize machining sequences and build control plans for complex geometries, precision components, and prototype parts. Conduct process improvement initiatives to enhance cycle times, minimize waste, and increase efficiency. Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 quality standards and safety protocols. Develop extensive expertise in the Heidenhain platform, including programming, troubleshooting, and machine setup. Participate in on-the-job training programs to master 5-axis CNC machining, robotics, and automation. Troubleshoot CNC programming, machine operation issues, and robotic system malfunctions. Read and interpret AutoCAD and SolidWorks drawings and models to ensure exact specifications. Independently set up, program, and operate CNC-controlled milling centers with an emphasis on 5-axis machining. Collaborate with engineering, production, and R&D teams to optimize machining processes. Work with loading robots and automation systems to enhance productivity and support lights-out manufacturing. Configure tooling, fixtures, and workpieces for optimal accuracy and repeatability. Monitor machining cycles, making real-time adjustments to ensure efficiency and quality. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to machinists and production personnel. Required Qualifications Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field preferred. Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with 5-axis CNC machining and programming. Experience with robotic loading systems and automated machining centers. Strong understanding of G-code, AutoCAD, CAM software and SolidWorks. Willingness to travel overseas within the first six months of employment for training. Experience with lean manufacturing, cycle time reduction, and efficiency improvement. Ability to troubleshoot CNC machine issues, robotic integrations, and process inefficiencies. Must be willing to learn and master Heidenhain CNC controls for high-precision machining. Prior experience using Heidenhain, Fanuc, or Siemens CNC controls. Experience in lights-out manufacturing and high-tech machining environments. Strong background in precision engineering and high-tolerance machining.
