BOS Staffing has partnered with a well-established accounting firm in the Athens area to find an organized and tech-savvy Administrative Assistant to join our client's team. Our client is one of the leading full-service accounting firms in Georgia, with offices in both Athens and Atlanta. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a friendly, highly organized, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant. In this front-desk role, you'll blend receptionist responsibilities with key administrative and tax support tasks-playing an important part in both client-facing and back-office operations, especially during the busy tax season.

If You Have: Previous administrative or office experience (experience in a CPA or tax firm a plus). Basic understanding of accounting or tax-related concepts (preferred but not required). Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Confidence using Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Outlook). Experience with document scanning and digital file management. Familiarity with tax or accounting software (such as Practice, UltraTax, SurePrep, or QuickBooks) is a bonus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
You Will Be: Greeting clients in person, providing hospitality, and managing client pick-ups, signatures, and conference room routing. Answering and directing incoming calls; handling mail and deliveries. Organizing and maintaining a tidy reception area and conference room. Scanning, uploading, and digitally filing client documents-including intake, notices, and workpapers. Assisting with new client set-ups and disengagements. Performing data entry in various tax and practice management systems. Generating time management and other reports; updating client records as needed. Supporting tax season processes: copying, scanning, file management, document routing, and processing as requested. Managing office supplies, snacks, beverages, and handling errands as needed. Acting as the Office Birthday Ambassador-organizing celebrations and thank you cards.
