This position combines one-on-one student support with campus-wide prevention initiatives—managing evidence-based interventions like BASICS, providing wellness coaching, supervising Peer Health Educators, and collaborating with campus and community partners. If you're passionate about health education, harm reduction, and supporting college students in making informed, empowered decisions, we’d love to meet you.

Lead alcohol and other drug (AOD) prevention efforts, including harm reduction strategies, substance-free event planning, and public health campaigns

Facilitate BASICS (Brief Alcohol Screening and Intervention for College Students) sessions and conduct follow-up assessments

Oversee required AOD education programs and maintain compliance with institutional and federal policies (e.g., anti-hazing education)

Provide individualized Wellness Coaching sessions that support students in building balanced, healthy lifestyles

Supervise and mentor Peer Health Educators focused on AOD prevention, life skills, and additional wellness topics

Plan and deliver engaging presentations and trainings for students, staff, and faculty

Collaborate with departments across campus and community partners to expand recovery support and prevention resources

Support broader health promotion efforts in areas like nutrition, sleep, stress, and sexual health

Collect and analyze data to evaluate program effectiveness and support continuous improvement

Stay informed on current research and evidence-based practices

Demonstrated commitment to equity, inclusion, and student-centered care

Experience with BASICS, peer education programs, and wellness coaching (preferred)
