Salary: $18 - $18.50 Shift: M-F 6:00am to 2:30pm Monday to Friday Job Summary Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product or component of a product. Team assemblers can perform all tasks conducted by the team in the assembly process and rotate through all or most of the rather than being assigned to a specific task on a permanent basis.
Duties and Responsibilities: Knowledge of raw materials and production process. Assembles fabricated parts, components or units at floor stations Maneuver workpieces in equipment during production. Remove accessories, tools, or other parts form equipment. Mount attachments or tools onto production equipment. Trim excess material from work pieces. Operate cutting equipment. Ability is using tools (e.g. clamps) and machines (e.g. presses) Label finish products, workpieces, and/or equipment with identifying boxes. Package products for storage or shipment. Record labor expenditure for projects on a daily basis. Record operational or production data. Maintain production or processing equipment. Report on issues, malfunction or defective parts. Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product. Move products weighting up to 50lbs on continous basis.
Specifications Not afraid to get dirty and handle tools and equipment on a daily basis. Work in a team environment to finish goods. Problem Sensitivity - Noticing when problems happen. Work Environment - Squat, crouch, bend, twist, lift, pull, and reach. Physical Requirement - Standing for extended periods of time. Lift up to 50lbs. Manual Dexterity and Flexibility with fingers and hands for manipulation of parts and components. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
