Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Project Managers with the daily coordination of construction projects, including scheduling, subcontractor communication, and documentation. Draft, review, and manage construction contracts, purchase orders, and change orders. Maintain organized project records, including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and progress documentation. Track project timelines, deliverables, and budgets in collaboration with the PM team. Support in bidding and procurement processes, including solicitation and review of subcontractor quotes. Coordinate with field teams, clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timely project execution. Ensure all required documentation is obtained for project closeout, including warranties, O&Ms, and final lien waivers. Participate in project meetings and take clear, actionable meeting minutes. Monitor compliance with company procedures, project requirements, and safety protocols. The Successful Applicant
Qualifications:
2-3+ years of experience
in a project coordination or support role within the
commercial construction
industry. Working knowledge of
construction contracts
and the ability to draft and interpret contract language. Experience working for a
general contractor
preferred. Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management software a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred, but not required. What's on Offer
