Job Summary The Auburn University Bookstore is excited to begin the search for a Student Receiving Associate! This position will assist with unloading trucks, processing merchandise, and assisting the Bookstore as needed.

Essential Functions

Help unload freight trucks and record packages in the daily receiving log. Process merchandise and then deliver it to the appropriate department in a timely manner after it has been received. Ensure merchandise is tagged correctly, scans at the right price, and is free of damages. Assist on the sales floor and in other departments of the store as needed. Efficiently and accurately process customer transactions on the cash register.

Minimum Qualifications

Currently enrolled student at Auburn University Expectations:

Be available to work home football game days Must be able to climb ladders. Must be able to climb stairs frequently. Must be able to lift approximately 10-25 lbs frequently. Must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs occasionally. Must be able to stand for 4 hours at a time.

Preferred Qualifications

Detail oriented Organizational skills Ability to work individually as well as cooperatively with others. Multitasking skills

Pay Rate $10.00/hour

Work Hours 10-20
