About the Role: Our client is seeking a hands-on Manager of Information Technology to lead the technology operations of a growing, multi-office law firm. This is more than a maintenance role-it's an opportunity to build something better. The goal is a scalable, secure, and tech-forward infrastructure that supports firm growth and empowers smarter, faster, and more efficient decision-making.
The ideal candidate is as comfortable troubleshooting a workstation as they are developing an IT roadmap, managing cybersecurity, and leveraging cloud and AI solutions to drive innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all IT operations, including helpdesk support, troubleshooting, and hardware/software maintenance Manage and maintain systems such as servers, networks, workstations, printers, and phone infrastructure. Develop and enforce secure IT systems and protocols, ensuring compliance, data protection, backups, and disaster recovery. Evaluate and manage legal technology platforms, including client portals, CRM systems, and case management tools. Identify opportunities for process improvement through automation, data analytics, or AI-driven solutions. Build and execute a scalable IT strategy aligned with the firm's growth objectives. Ensure seamless technology integration and communication across multiple office locations. Requirements:
Degree in IT or a related field or equivalent hands-on experience (entrepreneurial backgrounds welcome). Strong understanding of network systems, cybersecurity, cloud-based platforms, and legal industry tools. Self-starter with the ability to operate independently while contributing strategically at a high level.
