Primary Function

Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for web analytics and marketing measurement tools at a company in the office supplies and business solutions industry. Drive data strategy and support marketing performance through enhanced analytics and cross-functional collaboration. Contract duration: 8/4/2025 to 10/31/2025 Pay rate: $70-$74 Hybrid: 4 days on site in Lincolnshire, IL

Duties & Responsibilities

Strategize with business stakeholders to solution web analytics plans based on customer journey/behavior, traffic acquisition, website performance, and other KPIs. Lead core projects including enhancement of the Adobe Analytics infrastructure and development of attribution models. Manage a team of tagging engineers to ensure quality tagging of eCommerce features for data collection and analysis (functional/project management - not direct reports). Develop and maintain a clear product vision and roadmap for web analytics. Collaborate closely with Engineering, Data Analytics, and Digital Marketing teams. Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and practices in web analytics products and the broader digital marketing landscape. Skills & Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience working with and implementing Adobe Analytics; expertise in eVars, props, events, and Customer Journey Analytics. Strong technical background with knowledge of site tags, tracking pixels, and web tracking mechanisms. Knowledge of data collection best practices, data quality standards, and data governance principles. Proficiency in Excel and Power BI for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization. Familiarity with A/B testing processes and methodologies. Education & Experience

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience required. Bachelor's Degree preferred. 5+ years conducting highly quantitative analytics in Adobe Analytics. 2+ years of experience managing teams. 1+ years in a leadership role driving digital analytical solutions. Experience analyzing traffic, site engagement, site events, conversion, attribution, and other relevant web analytics concepts. Experience in SQL with a strong understanding of data warehouse architecture. Experience with Google Analytics and Rockerbox. Certifications in Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics preferred.
