We're working with a small, high-impact consulting firm based in Chicago that's leading complex SAP transformations for clients across North America. This hybrid position is for a full-time SAP Functional Solution Architect with a focus on Finance (FI/CO) and S/4HANA migrations. You'll work closely with business and technology leaders to drive successful transitions from SAP ECC to S/4HANA-making a lasting difference in how finance functions operate and scale.
This role puts you at the center of CFO-level strategic transformation. You'll be the bridge between business and IT-guiding clients through high-stakes finance modernization. Required Skills & Experience • 15+ years of SAP Finance (FI/CO) experience • 2+ full-cycle SAP ECC to S/4HANA migrations in a lead architect role • Hands-on experience with: ?- Universal Journal (ACDOCA) ?- New Asset Accounting ?- Margin Analysis (CO-PA) ?- Material Ledger ?- New GL, Segment Reporting, and Parallel Accounting • Strong understanding of SAP Activate methodology • Ability to communicate effectively with CFOs, Controllers, and senior finance stakeholders • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related technical field
Desired Skills & Experience • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (U.S., Canada, Mexico preferred) • Experience integrating SAP with consolidation, planning, and forecasting tools (EMP) • Cross-functional SAP module knowledge (e.g., MM, SD, WM) • Experience in data migration, cutover planning, and audit compliance • Open-minded approach to SAP best practices and third-party tools
