Electrician, Licensed
The University of Miami/UHealth department of Facilities has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Electrician, Licensed to work at the UHealth Lennar in Coral Gables, FL. The Electrician, Licensed performs building maintenance and repair work, and responds to the corrective needs of electrical equipment, and system components. Responsibilities include: Testing emergency generators, and conditioning and heating systems. Maintaining and repairing circulator and sump pumps, refrigeration units, fans, and other electrical equipment. Installing lighting fixtures and other electrical apparatus. Testing circuits for continuity and overloading. Conducting fire alarm tests and participating in the movement and installation of machinery and equipment. Evaluating equipment performance using instruments, such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, pyrometers, and pressure gauges. Working from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring and equipment. Maintaining records, preparing reports, and ordering supplies and equipment. Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets. Core Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
Certification in relevant specialty or field (Journeymen's License)

Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
