The Senior Financial Analyst is a respected team player with a quantifiable track record of success in delivering results within a large complex organization. They will provide financial decision support and be a trusted internal partner to the leadership and operation teams. They will also provide analysis to lead key decisions that align with company strategy. The incumbent will prepare monthly routine financial reporting along with any ad hoc projects. They will maintain and strengthen partner relationships and provide support when needed. Additionally, the incumbent will identify trends and connect with business partners on variance analysis and forecasting. Role Description Provide regular management reports and forecast updates on expenses, working with the business teams to understand variances and build action plans. Prepare month-end financial P&L reports using excel based financial models. Assist in the preparation, maintenance, and analysis of all Operating Expenses. Maintain general ledger accounts through various systems. Consolidate month-end financial reporting to update organizations Models. Partner with the broader Finance/Accounting teams to support the Company's 13-week cash flow forecast. Provide variance analysis monthly, quarterly and annually. Partner with operations teams to prepare annual operating plans. Prepare materials for key cross-functional meetings to report results Support a wide variety of business decisions with analyses and presentations Provide support for ongoing ad hoc analysis. Supports special projects as assigned. Key Qualifications Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field 3-5 years of experience Excellent analytical, financial and quantitative skills Proficient in excel and power point Knowledge of Oracle EPM and Essbase desirable Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively summarize and present complex financial data and assumptions to non-finance business partners Proficient financial modeling skillset Highly detail-oriented, motivated self-starter with strong organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to successfully manage multiple complex tasks/projects and prioritize in a dynamic environment Your Life and Career at Saks: Exposure to rewarding career advancement opportunities A culture that promotes a healthy, fulfilling work/life balance Benefits package for all eligible full-time employees (including medical, vision and dental).
