OPS Work Management Center Assistant
The OPS Work Management Center Assistant in the Physical Plant Work Management Center provides customer service to faculty, staff, and students. Performs general office data entry, filing, building inspections, and other office duties as needed. Typical duties include, but are not limited to: Answer phone and route calls to recipients. Greet visitors and answer any questions. Enter work requests. Scan documents and accurately file as needed. Assist with special events. Other duties: Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Additional Job Description Required Qualifications: Previous computer and database experience. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Promote a common purpose consistent with stated University goals and demonstrates a commitment to students and the learning environment. Possess the knowledge of general written standards and procedures utilized, and have the ability to read, interpret, and follow procedural and policy manual related to the job tasks. Demonstrate the ability to respond to supervision, guidance, and direction in a positive, receptive manner and in accordance with stated policies. Provide quality customer service by creating a welcoming and supportive environment. Present a professional image in word, action, and attire. Apply effective techniques to create working relationships to achieve common goals; successfully communicates and collaborates with others to achieve goals. Demonstrate skills necessary to look at situations and processes critically to make recommendations for improvement.
