Strategic Sourcing plays a vital role in shaping the future of our supply chain. A crucial part of the Supply Chain organization, this team drives supplier strategy through market analysis, RFx, and negotiations across every industry contributing to the Archer aircraft. The Strategic Sourcing team is responsible for forging strong partnerships, both internally across functions and externally across industries, to maximize cost-effectiveness and product excellence. Strategic Sourcing drives supply chain strategy from inception to implementation, negotiating strong agreements and ensuring seamless handoff to the tactical execution teams. Lead a lean, high-impact team of world-class sourcing professionals Resolve escalations and remove roadblocks to drive aggressive schedules Develop strategies with cross-functional leaders to reduce cost and increase value Design and influence policies and procedures to maximize efficiency and effectiveness Leverage a variety of cost modeling strategies to target high-impact opportunities Lead escalated cost and contract negotiations to increase the value delivered to Archer Enforce agreements and manage escalations at executive levels to protect strong functional relationships Demonstrate impact through clear executive-level communication of strategy and results Manage commercial relationships at the executive level and develop deep partnerships Develop a deep understanding of industry and market trends, educating key stakeholders and integrating new data into innovative approaches Work cross-functionally to continuously evolve policies and processes to enhance efficiency Full time, based at Archer Headquarters in San Jose Travel: ~25% What You Need:
Demonstrated experience leading a team of experienced professionals Exceptional negotiation skills Proven ability to dive into a subject and develop deep technical expertise Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving, and highly-regulated environment Ability to cut through ambiguity and detail limitations to make concrete and sound decisions An insatiable curiosity and a keen attention to detail Powerful executive communication skills Strong understanding of high-volume supply contracts Solid analytical and computer skills (excel/sheets, word/docs, powerpoint/slides) BS/BA and 10+ years of experience Bonus Qualifications:
