Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our team in the CSAC department. The role involves assembly, testing, and inspection of MEMS semiconductors. Microchip offers comprehensive on-the-job training to ensure you are fully equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge. Key Responsibilities: Perform semiconductor assembly in a cleanroom environment. Operate semi-automated surface mount pick and place equipment Conduct routine inspections and quality checks to ensure products meet specified standards. Requirements/Qualifications: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree is a plus. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cleanroom manufacturing environment. Experience with micro components and precision microscope work. Basic computer skills for logging data, reviewing documents, emailing, and online training sessions. U.S. Export Controls Requirements: This job requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by the export laws of the United States. Candidates are required to provide proof of either US citizenship, Permanent US residency or classification as a protected individual as defined in 8 USC 1324b (a) (3).
