Come be a part of our team, where your efforts will further enhance our story! This is a two-year development program. The Supply Chain Leadership Development Program (LDP) offers an exceptional opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of the industry while experiencing multiple functional areas within supply chain. Through business-critical projects, you'll build professional skills, gain hands-on experience, and make direct contributions to our company's growth. Key Responsibilities & Learning Objectives
Safety & Risk Management
Promote a culture of safety where employees prioritize safety for themselves and others. Quickly identify and address safety hazards; ensure compliance with procedures, rules, and regulations. Proactively identify and manage risks in all project areas, especially those related to safety. Team Culture & Employee Development
Foster an inclusive team environment where all employees feel valued, respected, and empowered to exceed expectations. Support a culture of operator ownership and continuous improvement. Train, evaluate, and develop team members; identify strengths and improvement areas for yourself and others. Rotational Learning & Career Development
Leverage rotation experiences to deepen understanding of Sazerac's operations and define personal career goals. Create and execute a Career Development Plan with your manager. Reflect on each rotation's success and broaden your internal network through mentorship and collaboration. Customer Focus & Operational Excellence
Collaborate with department heads to exceed customer expectations by achieving 80% operational uptime. Ensure product quality, on-time delivery, and cost-effective operations. Continuous Improvement & Performance Management
Apply continuous improvement principles to operations and cross-functional teams during rotations. Use key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and improve operational success. Lead frontline supervision of production, operations, and maintenance departments. Champion high-performance team development and foster operator ownership across all areas. Compliance & Quality Standards
Ensure compliance with all Personal Safety, Food Safety, Quality, and Environmental policies. Support "Right the First Time" standards and continuous improvement in all operations. Cost Savings & Efficiency Projects
Lead cost-reduction initiatives and consult cross-functionally on opportunities for improvement. Suggest new methodologies and equipment to increase efficiency and reduce cost per case. Partner with vendors to optimize spending on parts, equipment, and supplies. Documentation & Process Optimization
Assist in developing and updating Work Instructions and operational processes. Support safety, quality, and performance initiatives with measurable impact. Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, or a related field Anticipated graduation date between May 2025 and August 2025 3.0+ cumulative GPA Self-motivated, strong work ethic, innovative, solution-oriented mindset, with a passion for learning Team player with effective communication skills and a high level of emotional intelligence Strong analytical skills and technical aptitude Ability to communicate with all levels of an org Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours (nights/weekends) Strong interpersonal skills Ability to project a professional image Ability to quickly learn new systems/processes Strong planning and organizational skills Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time Strong computer skills and high comfort using technology and systems At least 21 years of age
