As the Kids Place Director, you will lead the daily operations of the Kids Club and children's programming at River Place Country Club. This role is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and enjoyable environment for children, managing a team of childcare associates, and delivering exceptional experiences for member families. You'll play a vital role in enhancing the family-focused culture of our club. Responsibilities
Provide direct oversight and leadership of the Kids Place and childcare team. Create and manage weekly schedules, ensuring appropriate staff coverage based on attendance and events. Plan, organize, and execute engaging age-appropriate activities, seasonal camps, and member-focused children's events. Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment that complies with all health and safety regulations. Greet and communicate professionally with parents and guardians, providing updates on children's experiences and any incidents. Maintain required documentation, including child sign-in sheets, incident reports, and emergency contacts. Train, develop, and evaluate childcare staff according to Arcis Golf service standards. Collaborate with club leadership to promote family programming and increase Kids Place participation. Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years in a childcare or recreational setting; at least 1 year of supervisory experience. CPR and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire). Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds. Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and sitting on the floor. Ability to supervise children in indoor and outdoor settings, including during hot weather. Benefits & Perks
