The Junior Estimator will: Assist in the preparation of cost estimates for various construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead. Review project plans and specifications to determine scope of work and materials required. Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather pricing and resource information. Analyze historical data to develop cost projections and identify trends. Prepare detailed take-offs from drawings and plans using estimating software. Maintain organized records of estimates and bid proposals. Participate in bid meetings and provide support during the bidding process. Assist in preparing and submitting bid proposals to clients. Continuously seek to improve estimating processes and accuracy. Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and best practices. The Junior Estimator should have: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 1-2 years of experience in construction estimating or a related field preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar). Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. What's on Offer
