Sun, Week 2 6a-6p Fri-Sun What This Job Involves The Building Engineer-2 supports operation, inspection, and maintenance processes to mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems within the facilities. Assists Core team in maintenance and repair efforts, as well as independently performing defined tasks. Performs inspections and repairs to assigned property interior and exterior areas. What Is The Day To Day? Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures Complete rounds with proper documentation Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to building equipment Maintain a positive working relationship across all the Operations facility Successful candidate must be a self-motivated individual who can work independently or in a team environment. Maintains a clean and safe work environment. Other assigned operational tasks as may be typically expected of the operating engineer role. Required High school diploma or equivalent Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts/areas, including weekends, nights and/or holidays PC competency to include: Continuum (BAS), Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Candidate must possess and maintain a valid state drivers license. Ability to comply with both Jones Lang LaSalle and client-directed policies & procedures. Preferred Automation background Vocational school or college with a focus in the mechanical or electrical field 1+ years of experience with HVAC systems and controls 1+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures Experience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) Able to troubleshoot basic input and output functions Work Environment Move up to 49lbs as well as stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation Estimated Total Compensation For This Position: $54,000.00
