Neurovascular (NV) Business Unit offers an integrated portfolio of devices and therapies for the treatment of stroke related diseases. Job Responsibilities

Lead engineering efforts for maintaining and improving released stent products, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies, including driving corrective and preventative actions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Clinical, and Marketing) to identify and implement product enhancements. Analyze product performance data, customer feedback, and field issues to drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. Develop and execute test plans, protocols, and validation activities to support product updates or modifications. Serve as a technical expert and mentor for junior engineers, providing guidance on best practices and problem-solving. Partner with supply chain and manufacturing teams to address component obsolescence, supplier changes, and cost reduction initiatives. Author and review technical documentation, including engineering change orders, design history files (DHFs), and risk management reports. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements to ensure product competitiveness and compliance. Support internal and external audits as a subject matter expert for released products. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize product designs and processes. Minimum Must Have Requirements

Bachelor's degree required in engineering related field with 7+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications and Competencies

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills in R&D or released product engineering. Technical expertise in stent, flow-diversion stent and braiding medical devices. Hands-on experience with remediation activities and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) processes. Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional teams, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced dynamic environment. High attention to detail and commitment to quality. Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD): $130,400.00 - $195,600.00 This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others). The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
