As the Sr Channel Manager, you will support the development and execution of the UOP Channel Strategy. This role will partner with UOPs global business units to drive channel growth and operational excellence. You will be responsible for delivering key initiatives that support channel expansion, performance, and alignment with UOPs strategic goals. You will collaborate across commercial, product, and supply chain teams to gather insights, analyze data, and support new product and service launches. Responsibilities
This role will manage: analytics, operations, strategy, and marketing. Channel Strategy
Execute UOPs channel strategy, including segmentation by volume and sales potential. Assist in developing and executing performance targets and commission structures. Implement pricing strategies across direct, channel, and e-commerce platforms. Drive growth through incentive programs and joint commercial initiatives. Participate in business reviews to monitor performance against targets. Promote UOP brand awareness through joint marketing efforts. Manage channel conflict with clear rules of engagement and governance. Implement formal distribution agreements and onboarding processes. Identify and qualify new distribution partners aligned with UOPs growth strategy. Collaborate with direct sales teams to define end-user engagement protocols and joint sales efforts. Coordinate with manufacturing and supply chain teams to monitor inventory, service levels, and delivery performance. Represent UOP at relevant trade events and industry forums. Build and maintain strong executive relationships with key channel partners. Channel Management
Own channel operations and rollout, including compliance tracking, partner governance, and contract management. Support digital transformation of channel systems (e-marketing, lead management, e-commerce, order and logistics management). Develop and maintain channel management playbooks covering the full partner lifecycle: sourcing, onboarding, planning, KPI setting, evaluation, rewards, and renewal/termination. Travel Required: 2550% (domestic & international) You Must Have
6+ years of experience in contract negotiation with external suppliers, customers, or distribution partners in a sales or procurement role. 2+ years of experience working with Preferred Distribution Partners (PDPs). We Value
Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field in Life Sciences. MBA preferred. Ability to work independently and within a matrixed team environment. Strong time management and organizational skills using strategy deployment tools (e.g., X-Matrix). High attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills. Strong customer service orientation.
