MINIMUM 6 MONTHS OF RECENT AP ASSISTANT EXPERIENCE
Connect Staffing is seeking a Part-Time AP Assistant for a company that manufactures trailers and generators in Cypress, CA.
Schedule:
2-3 days a week onsite. Position is temporary.
Requirements of the AP Assistant:
Minimum 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar administrative/financial role. Proficiency in data entry and attention to detail. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) is a plus. Prior experience in roles such as an Accounts Payable Clerk, Accounting Assistant, Bookkeeper, Financial Administrator, or Administrative Assistant is a plus!

Responsibilities of the AP Assistant: Process accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently. Match purchase orders to invoices and verify details. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies. Assist with month-end closing procedures related to accounts payable. Maintain accurate vendor records and communicate with vendors as needed. Perform general administrative duties to support the accounting department.
