Administrative Assistant 3 - Faculty Affairs Coordinator
Functions as an Administrative Assistant to coordinate and monitor daily administrative activities and services within the Office of Faculty Affairs in the Department of Internal Medicine. This role provides comprehensive administrative support to the Department Chair, Associate Vice Chairs of Academic Affairs, Manager of Faculty Affairs, and Co-Chairs of the AP&T Committee. Key responsibilities include: Coordinating and overseeing daily business functions; serving as the primary contact for the DOIM AP&T Committee; preparing and distributing agendas, and recording meeting minutes; acting as a liaison between promotion candidates, division leadership, and the P&T Committee; ensuring compliance with Office of Academic Affairs and College policies; facilitating faculty affairs for all regular and associated track faculty; assisting with faculty development processes and mentorship programs; managing administrative calendars; processing travel requests, reimbursements, and requisitions for purchases and payments; supporting Office of Faculty Affairs with administrative operations.
