Job duties include but are not limited to: Open & close bar Make and serve drinks Cleaning of tables and bar area Maintain storage room where alcohol is kept and keep inventory levels Restock items when necessary Mix ingredients, such as liquor, soda, water, sugar & bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks Display knowledge of all menu items, contents and preparation methods Be knowledgeable of hotel property and amenities Job requirements: Previous bartending or training required Must be 21 years of age Be self-motivated and able to work independently Strong work ethic and a desire to succeed Knowledge of the Micros operating system a plus Have working knowledge of beer, wine & liquor and common drink recipes Ability to lift, pull and push moderate weight is necessary, up to 40lbs Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time Clean background check, and reliable transportation a must Must possess excellent guest service and communication skills Open availability-this would include evening and weekends 1-2 years experience at making craft cocktails Bar lead experience would be a plus
