Postdoctoral Researcher

The Meyer Lab in the Department of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is currently recruiting a postdoctoral researcher to join our team in reimagining how we discover and deploy drug combinations in the clinic. Our work is highly interdisciplinary, integrating high-throughput screening, state-of-the-art machine learning models, and systems biology to elucidate the mechanisms of drug interactions in complex biological systems, with a particular focus on infectious disease and cancer. Candidates with experience in high-throughput assays and/or quantitative microscopy are particularly encouraged to apply. We are seeking highly motivated, creative scientists who are willing to take intellectual risks to shape the future of combination therapy, thereby contributing to the institution's goal of developing cures for catastrophic childhood diseases. Ideal candidates will have: A Ph.D. in pharmacology, microbiology, cancer biology, chemical biology, or a related field Experience designing, executing, analyzing, and interpreting quantitative experiments Familiarity with high-throughput techniques and analyses An ambition to make major contributions to the field of systems pharmacology by driving an independent research project Strong communication skills and a desire to work in a team-oriented, interdisciplinary environment This position offers access to state-of-the-art facilities, a collaborative and supportive research environment, and the opportunity to work on high-impact problems in human health. St. Jude offers highly competitive salaries in a low-cost-of-living city, along with comprehensive benefits and robust support for professional development. To apply, please send a cover letter describing your research interests and career goals, your CV, and contact information for 3 references to Dr. Christian Meyer at Christian.meyer@stjude.org.
