Seeking a Procedural Scheduler to coordinate patient surgeries and verify OBGYN benefits. This is a vital role in helping the patient receive the proper coverage, care, and understand their financial obligation prior to service. This is a fantastic position for someone who enjoys serving as the key connector between patients and providers, coordinating complex schedules, managing critical timelines, and making a direct impact on patient outcomes. How you support our amazing team and patients: Verify patient demographics and insurance information, update patient account information as needed Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for pregnancy, procedures, surgeries or other services for OB and GYN patients Contact insurance companies to obtain prior authorization if required Evaluate surgery case to determine the appropriate OR, surgery time and post-op timeframe Schedule surgery dates in EMR and appropriate surgical calendars Maintains block times for all physicians, including robotic schedule Run patient estimates and notifies patient of financial responsibility such as co-pays, deductibles, co-insurance and/or out of pocket maximums Interact with patients, providers, and staff to coordinate post-op appointment Document authorizations and/or communication with patients in EMR Communicate in an effective and professional manner with physicians, care team, ancillary departments, insurance companies, as well as patients Job Requirements: 1 year Job Details: Full Time Day (United States of America) The best place to get care.
