We are looking for a Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineer to join our Signature Solutions team in Northbrook, IL. The individual in this role will be responsible for testing products for UL's highest revenue-generating customers in the oil and gas sector. The primary objective is to mitigate risks associated with electrical distribution, explosion, and dust ignition in hazardous environments. This involves comprehensive testing, such as temperature, vibration, and thermal shock testing, along with construction reviews on a diverse range of products, including but not limited to switches, gaskets, short circuit wires, connectivity cables, low-voltage electrical equipment, and lighting. This role is HYBRID and requires employees to be onsite three days a week.
