We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical assisting, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for patient care. As the Lead Medical Assistant, you will oversee the daily operations of the medical assistant team, ensuring efficient and effective patient care. Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support the medical assistant team, providing guidance and training as needed. Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures. Manage patient flow and ensure timely and accurate documentation. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care. Handle patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service. Ensure compliance with clinic policies and procedures. Cover medical assistant position in the event of call outs and vacations. Qualifications
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred but not required. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a medical assistant, preferably in a pain management or similar clinical setting. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems. eClinicalworks experience is a plus. Reliable transportation with ability to travel between clinics. Benefits
