Assistant Superintendent
A nationally recognized real estate developer is actively seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support large-scale multifamily projects. Support the Project Manager in all aspects of construction operations. Prepare, submit, and distribute RFIs (Requests for Information) as needed. Review and comprehend subcontract agreements relevant to assigned responsibilities. Inform management of critical project developments, including successes, challenges, injuries, client interactions, and potential claims or losses. Collaborate with the owner/client to provide progress updates, secure approvals, and finalize change orders for scope modifications. Assist in documenting project changes, maintaining accurate records, redline updates, and correspondence. Ensure all work adheres to OSHA regulations and safety standards. Track project expenses to maintain alignment with the established budget. Prepare submittal schedules for approval and distribution. Assist the Superintendent with RFI reports, QA/QC documentation, and construction field operations. Assist with preconstruction tasks, including estimating and quantification. Collect and log closeout documents and punch lists. Competitive base salary commensurate with experience.
