Revolution Medicines is seeking a Senior Manager, FP&A, to support our growing needs in Clinical Finance. The Senior Manager, FP&A will support budget development, forecasting, clinical trial accruals, and month-end reporting. This role reports to the Director, FP&A and will work closely with Project Teams, Cross-Functional Departments, and Finance colleagues to ensure timely, accurate financial oversight for ongoing studies. This position is based out of our headquarters in Redwood City, CA. Responsibilities: Partner with Development and Project Team leaders to align financial assumptions and ensure consistency in forecasts. Prepare monthly variance analysis of actuals to budget, explain, and investigate any major discrepancies, and understand key business drivers. Develop and prepare monthly internal fiscal management reporting packages. Lead planning cycles (Annual Budget, Reforecast), including template preparation, additional analyses to support budget and forecasting needs and prepare PowerPoint slides as needed. Prepare month-end clinical trial accruals, including review of CRO reports, patient costs, and site payments. Work with external CROs and vendors to ensure that expenses are accurately accounted for. Review contracts and amendments to analyze and determine impact on clinical accruals. Ensure and maintain proper documentation and internal controls around clinical trial accruals for SOX compliance. Support the annual audit and quarterly reviews through preparation of audit schedules and other documentation as requested by external auditors. Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and analytical support as needed. Manage and mentor a Sr. Financial Analyst, providing ongoing coaching, feedback, and professional development support. Required Skills, Experience and Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. 10+ years relevant experience, and 7+ years in the biotechnology industry. Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint Demonstrated experience utilizing financial systems and other business intelligence tools; NetSuite, Sage Intaact, Adaptive Insights (including OfficeConnect), and Coupa experience a plus. Strong work ethic, accountability, and ability to meet timelines based on changing priorities. Strong analytical and advanced excel skills as well as excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills. Ability to resolve complex issues and drive solutions independently. Preferred Skills: CPA or MBA preferred. Pharma or Big 4 Accounting experience. Prior experience with clinical trial accruals. The base salary range for this full-time position is $158,000 to $198,000 for candidates working onsite at our headquarters in Redwood City, CA. The range displayed on each job posting is intended to be the salary for an individual working onsite in Redwood City and will be adjusted for the local market a candidate is based in. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, market dynamics, and relevant education or training.
