Responsibilities

Monitor and process post-trade instructions for equity and municipal securities, ensuring timely and accurate settlement. Validate Standard Settlement Instructions (SSIs) prior to trade release. Release trade instructions to the market and track settlement status, providing timely updates to internal stakeholders and clients. Identify, investigate, and resolve unmatched or failing trades, working closely with counterparties, custodians, and internal teams. Escalate booking or operational issues promptly to prevent settlement failures and financial exposure. Collaborate with compliance, risk, and technology teams to enhance settlement processes and controls. Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with regulatory and internal policy requirements. Support process improvement initiatives and contribute to automation and efficiency efforts. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in trade operations, settlements, or post-trade processing, with a focus on equity and/or municipal securities. Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle, settlement processes, and reconciliation practices. Experience with Broadridge Impact or similar post-trade processing systems is a plus. Ability to interface effectively and build positive working relationships with clients, counterparties, and internal stakeholders. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. High attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. FINRA SIE license is required within 3 months of hire. FINRA Series 7TO is required within 6 months of hire. Understanding of underwriting processes is preferred. The duties listed above are the essential functions, or fundamental duties within the job classification.
