Applicants must be within driving distance to one of the following MMA Southeast office locations and able to commute to the office a minimum of three days per week: Atlanta Northside (Ironwood) North Atlanta (Alpharetta) Birmingham, AL Chattanooga, TN Jackson, MS Lexington, KY A day in the life. As a Sr. Claims Advocate, you will: Monitor and update claim acknowledgments in Agency Management System and Document Imaging System. Actively handle complex claims through inception through to resolution Actively maintain diary and follow up on status of claims as needed. Ability to negotiate with adjusters on behalf of clients to have positive outcomes related to claims. Create loss analysis documents such as Claims Summaries, Loss Stratification reports, and Mod Worksheet review as requested Create claim kits and order loss runs as needed Organize and participate in claim review meetings and new business presentations as requested. Proficiently maintain agency management data for accuracy. Build strong carrier relationships with adjusters and other claims team members in an effort to form partnership that supports both client needs and carrier objectives. Monitor trending within claims activity; communicate effectively with agency teams for awareness of any coverage issues or pending carrier issues. Provide value added services and consultative approach to claims management on behalf of clients. Perform other specific claims related duties as assigned. Our future colleague. We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with minimum 3+ years previous claims experience required Multi-line carrier or brokerage experience Bachelor's degree in related field preferred or equivalent experience Professional designations a plus Well organized, self-motivated, willingness to learn, attention to detail Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
