The role you will contribute: The Senior CX Data Analyst serves as a liaison between clinical and operational service lines supporting a variety of consumer experience, quality and performance measurement initiatives throughout the organization through participation in development and maintenance of reports, scorecards and dashboard tools. These initiatives include but are not limited to tracking consumer experience, clinical quality outcomes, and benchmarking internal performance against external peers. The Senior CX Data Analyst analyzes complex qualitative and quantitative consumer experience, clinical, financial and administrative data from multiple sources, and synthesizes results into meaningful reports and presentations on a regular basis. The Senior CX Data Analyst develops and maintains a robust, working knowledge of the business area that they support. The Senior CX Data Analyst is the subject matter expert of the key drivers and measures of success for this business area and demonstrates thorough understanding of the short-term and long-term direction of the service line. The Senior CX Data Analyst serves as a resource and role model for other business analysts and trains business analysts and end-users on core analytic and reporting systems. The Senior CX Data Analyst is expected to actively demonstrate outstanding customer service and maintain relationships that are equally respectful to all. The value you will bring to the team: Works with clinical and operational staff to develop and maintain performance measurement processes (database development, benchmarking, KPI development, systems documentation, and reporting/dashboard deployment). Interacts regularly with leadership and quality personnel (including ancillary, safety, acute care, and integrated health services) to facilitate discussions of existing data products while assessing unmet analytic needs and potential enhancements. Analyzes and interprets data to identify areas for improvement and provide meaningful data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership. Develops key performance indicators (clinical outcomes, cost, length of stay, patient satisfaction, etc.) through gathering requirements, defining specifications and establishing goals or benchmarks. Manages complex datasets by identifying, aggregating, cleaning and validating data from multiple sources in preparation for reporting use. Uses analytical techniques to design, develop, and maintain reports, scorecards, and dashboards that provide insight to the organization. Conducts financial and/or operational analyses and interprets results to support business stakeholders in making strategic decisions. Collaborates with other analytics staff to develop and improve analytic products. Supports system-wide quality improvement efforts through collaboration with multi-disciplinary audiences, from executives to front line staff. Develops subject matter expertise around business/clinical operations and their relation to performance measurements. Serves as the team content expert on measurement/analysis methods and provides solid recommendations to senior leaders and quality staff; continually expands and updates this knowledge. Conducts regular data mining/extraction from database and tables autonomously. Qualifications The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed: Bachelor's Required Master's Required 2 Work Experience Required Mastery of desktop applications, including MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to a variety of audiences throughout the organization Strong analytical skills, with the ability to effectively summarize data, present insights and facilitate discussion of results Initiative to work independently (self-direction) and ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams for maximum efficiency and effectiveness Attention to detail that ensures follow-through on all assigned projects Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage efforts across multiple projects and re-establish priorities as necessary to effectively respond to time sensitive issues and meet deadlines Knowledge and application of statistical analyses including financial variance and statistical significance Experience in visualization and statistical analysis tools (preferably Power BI, Qlik Products, Tableau, Minitab, R, Stata, or SAS) Experience in data management tools and techniques (preferably MS Access and SQL) Strong experience with data mining/extraction tools (merging dimensions, custom SQL) Strong project management, planning, organizational and process improvement skills Strong leadership, relationship management, interpersonal and communication skills Experience leading analytical projects Ability to work with autonomy Ability to utilize a determined, self-disciplined approach to achieve results and maintain a high standard of quality and accuracy Knowledge and application of statistical analyses including financial variance and statistical significance This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
