Financial Analyst
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support our Information Technology (IT) department. This role is responsible for managing and analyzing IT budgets, project forecasts, vendor contracts, and capital expenditures. The ideal candidate will act as a strategic partner to IT leadership, helping to drive cost efficiency, optimize spend, and support data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Develop, manage, and monitor IT budgets and forecasts across hardware, software, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and staffing. Analyze and report on IT project spend, cost variances, ROI, and capital vs. operating expenses (CapEx/OpEx). Partner with IT leaders to support business cases, resource planning, and financial impact analysis for new initiatives. Track and reconcile vendor invoices, license renewals, service contracts, and procurement processes. Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports and dashboards for IT leadership and Finance teams. Support IT asset management tracking, software compliance, and depreciation schedules. Assist with long-range planning, annual budgeting, and financial audits specific to IT. Monitor KPIs such as cost per user, cloud spend utilization, and infrastructure efficiency. Recommend cost optimization strategies and identify opportunities to streamline technology investments. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in an IT, technology, or enterprise environment. Strong understanding of IT cost structures and financial impacts of cloud, software, and hardware expenditures. Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial modeling, variance analysis, and pivot tables. Experience with budgeting and planning tools (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, Oracle, SAP). Familiarity with IT project management tools or ERP systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Workday, NetSuite) is a plus. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
